How long does a registration appointment with a consultant take, and should I bring anything with me?

Your registration interview will last for approximately 45 minutes. You will need to send back an application form we will provide along with a copy of your degree/masters certificate and a photographic ID that proves your right to work in the UK.

We are unable to put you forward for any opportunities until we have proof of ID and proof that you are a graduate.

We offer applicants online appointments through platforms like: Zoom/Teams/Skype/facetime/Whatsapp and can offer out of hours appointments if you are struggling to arrange the time off work.

What if I can‘t attend a consultation?

We offer appointments on virtual platforms that suit the applicant so its easier to fit around current commitments and applicants location. This way we can help a wider audience get seen quicker.

If you have an appointment arranged but need to cancel or rearrange just let us know via email or call us on 0300 303 2069. This way we can offer the appointment to someone else.

What if I am waiting to graduate and have not received my certificate yet?

If you are due to graduate and have no certificate to prove you are a graduate we will contact your university and ask them to confirm you did attend and you have achieved. We will not be able to put you forward for a graduate role until this proof has been attained.

Should I wear a suit to the registration interview?

We do not expect graduates to wear a suit/business wear to the registration interview. However, it is advisable to be smartly presented, as first impressions DO count.

Will there be any testing as part of the registration process?

We do not normally test Graduates on numeracy or IT as part of the interview, however, we do ask all Graduates to complete an application form due to data protection and as part of this, we are checking for attention to detail, grammar and the ability to work to a deadline. It then needs to be sent back to us when requested. This form provides us with the information needed to go ahead with the appointment, most of the information can be copied and pasted from your CV. Many of our clients also carry out on-site tests as part of their process and Graduates will be advised prior to their interviews.

Should I call on a regular basis for an update?

Please contact us if your details need updating or if your secure a role without us, otherwise, we will be in touch when a graduate opportunity becomes available for you. We are always here to support all of our candidates, and everyone likes to be communicated with in different ways ie text, email, telephone. Please tell us what you prefer and we will work with you to ensure you are updated via your chosen method.
