With roots firmly in repair and construction, dealing with unusual and sometimes unconventional projects, they have set out to become a repair and construction company with a real difference.

They are members of the Charted Institute of Building (CIOB) and undertake professional qualifications within the membership to expand knowledge and experience in the industry. Their staff members also undertake examinations and progression through the Charted Institute of Insurance (CII) and other professional bodies dependent on the role.

Roles & Responsibilities

Due to the continuous growth of this dynamic firm, we are now recruiting for an experienced professional to join our business and add real value, reporting into the Operations Director

  • Work alongside the team to deliver the team’s collective responsibilities which will focus on data management including building and producing MI for internal and external stakeholders, management of company records, adherence to the Data Protection Act including the fulfilling the rights of Data subjects.
  • Organise and prioritise the team’s collective workload to meet deadlines and to ensure there is a fair division of work tasks during fluctuations.
  • Provide back-up for individual’s tasks where there is no natural back-up coverage within the team.
  • Ensure the stakeholders for responsibilities are identified and that they are kept suitably informed throughout the delivery of the task.

The team’s duties include:

  • The Company’s data management including building and producing MI for internal and external stakeholders, management of company records, and adherence to the Data Protection Act including fulfilling the rights of Data Subjects.
  • System admin for the Company’s CMS including managing permissions, making amendments, and acting as the system’s helpdesk/support.
  • Managing the Company’s IT hardware including purchasing, location, maintenance/replacement cycle, and disposal.
  • Maintaining the Company’s vehicle fleet including services, MOT’s, trackers, and repairs.
  • Primary contact for the Company’s external IT providers and manage Company software.
  • Maintain and renew Company accreditations and apply for new accreditation as requested/required.
  • Other tasks and projects as required by the Operations Director.

Skills Required

  • A management professional who has the ability to lead but also be hands on when necessary
  • Proven experience creating and reporting on management information and managing company records
  • Data management experience
  • Experience working in a regulated industry – (insurance would be desirable)
  • Proven team management experience in a relevant industry
  • Strong IT skills,
  • Ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Self-directed initiative and strong follow-through
  • Understanding of budgeting best practices
  • Be able to write fluently, to think clearly and to grasp new concepts quickly
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the goals and drivers of the business
  • Enthusiasm and ability to contribute to the successful development of the business

HOURS OF WORK: 8.45-5pm 45 minutes lunch

HOLIDAY: Pro Rata – 25 days plus bank holidays, an extra 16 hours of time off in lieu taken at no more than two-hour slots which equates to the total of 27 days plus bank holidays.  An additional day is also given for your Birthday if it falls on a weekday.
