Roles & Responsibilities
Focusing on digital marketing and the delivery of some of company key events, this role will play a key role in helping to deliver the Association’s digital and events strategy. You will see the implementation of creative ideas to help drive an increase in engagement and further the reach of the Association.
Plan, develop, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including the Associations member communications, and e-newsletters, to support company strategy to drive brand awareness, member acquisition and member retention.
Manage social media platforms and engage with online communities to enhance brand presence including responsible for the creation of all posts and associated graphics for the Association’s social media. Developing ideas and opportunities to amplify company reach across its social media channels.
Monitor, analyse and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic and social media engagement rates across our digital activities to continuously improve campaign effectiveness across the Association’s digital channels.
Organise, promote, and host the Association’s webinar series.
Work with our outsourced provider to organise and deliver the Association’s events programme
organise and co-ordinate the speaker programme with the CEO and Head of Technical Insight
develop effective communication strategies to promote the event
maintain an overview of the budget; and
co-ordinate and evaluate the event feedback.
Organise the awarding and the promotion of the Association’s award programme.
Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to enhance marketing strategies across social media, e-mail communications and websites.
Creation of digital content including news items, blogs, and press releases to promote the Associations key activities including events and awards programme.
Working with the graphic designer to develop video content to promote company services.
As a brand guardian ensure that marketing and communication activities are delivered in an accurate, consistent, and professional manner.
Support the day-to-day tasks of the marketing and communications team.
Support the team and the Association in the delivery of its strategic goals.
Skills Required
A Marketing/Events Degree
Placement year – within the sector
Experience in email marketing
Experience of managing content, writing engaging copy and proof reading
Ability to spot opportunities and emerging trends and advise accordingly
Understanding of digital marketing commercial applications
Understanding of digital analytics and reporting
Detailed knowledge of social media monitoring tools and digital platforms
Previous experience of using content management principles and application
Effective project management skills are desirable
Self-motivated, proactive approach to working
Familiarity with SEO, e-mail marketing platforms, and social media tools
Relevant IT skills – Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Canva or Photoshop
Ability to influence at a peer group level

HOURS OF WORK: (35 Hours) Mon- Thursday 9-5pm, Friday 9-4pm
HOLIDAY: 24 days holiday and the offices are closed for 3 days over Christmas each year.
